Hola. I was born in the U.S but raise in Mazatlan, Mexico. Sometime between 1985-1986 my brother introduced me to the World of Skateboarding. It was then that I saw so many mind changing graphics. Many of which were so loaded with messages and meaning. However, being so young, I couldnt understand what they were saying.

By then I was already drawing but never had any direct influences. The works of Jim Phillips, Andy Howell, Evan Hecox, Marc Mckee, Ron Cameron were what attract my attention the most. I believe that their styles have branded our generation forever! Coming from a very conservative society it really gave me a diferent prespective of what I wanted to do I can recall being afraid but excited at the same time.

That was the moment when I really knew what I wanted to do with the rest of my life. Although even now, Im still not exactly sure what that is exactly...
